Standard Storage Contract (SCC)

Our terms and conditions are set out in the Storage Services Contract (SSC). This standard contract can only be varied with the agreement of Ofgem following consultation with all market participants, so all customers can be sure they are receiving the same terms. Therefore the SSC is non negotiable.

CSL has amended the SSC to allow for the provision of Multiple Storage Services from within the SSC. (entry paid C STORE and Day Ahead services). Further information can be found on the C Store contract summary page.

Credit Agreement and Terms

The customer has also to sign our standard Credit Agreement. Signing the SSC and the Credit Agreement does not commit the "customer" to any costs. Costs are only incurred if a customer commits to firm capacity or begin to move gas into store or buy gas in store.

The latest version of the contract, effective from May 2006, is version 3. You can download it below and see earlier versions and related documentation in the archive.
